Meet our Partner the Artist Gabby Malpas
Gabby is an NZ artist who has called Sydney home since 2003 after living in the UK for 14 years. You may be familiar with her my still life images: flora and fauna viewed and grown in NSW Australia with more than a hint of chinoiserie. Her work could be interpreted as purely decorative. By using allusion and symbolism, she weaves stories into her work based on her experiences as trans-racial, Asian adoptee: joyful and chaotic assemblage of blooms and fruit displayed with a collection of ceramics from anywhere and everywhere but with a narrative that draws the viewer in for a second look.
Arjuna and Eva met Gabby around a homemade dinner in Bali while she stayed at Mahayoni Villa. 3 people, 3 stories and one spark of connection and co-creation was born. Gabby offered to teach her skills to the girls for a painting class, we felt for her personality and talent. You'll see some of her beautiful artwork throughout the website - such as the top headers watercolours backgrounds. More than a collaboration, it is the beginning of a wonderful relationship that we hope will continue for our teas and essential oils packaging coming next year ;) ...

Meet our Partner Wuf Shanti
Wuf Shanti is an adorable dog yoga character that travels the world and shares with children through yoga, fun, and great music, how to live mindfully and think like a yogi, look on the bright side of life, be kind to others, and live in gratitude. If we can teach children when they are young more productive ways of dealing with their emotions, then hopefully they will grow up to be more empathetic, less depressed and anxious teenagers, and more content, happier peace-loving adults. Wuf Shanti promotes health, wellness, and happiness in children.
Arjuna and Erika Lee, one of Wuf Shanti creator, intuitively connected through social media and started to support one another's organization, before realising their connection through The Soul of Yoga in Encinitias. It is later in November, when Erika travelled to Bali they finally met and developed a soulful connection naturally evolving toward a wonderful friendship and now partnership.
