10-Day Challenge to raise awareness for the Bali Bhakti Foundation’s sustainable clean-food project Life Sprouts Farm Bali.
3 Sun Salutations
Everyday thousands of tourists visit Bali, Indonesia, Island of the Gods, for a uniquely peaceful cultural and spiritual experience where they can stay in dreamy villas and enjoy the blessings of amazing organic foods.
At the same time, the economically impoverished Balinese maintain a diet of 90% chemically sprayed and genetically modified white rice grown from contaminated river water which is the primary cause of repetitive debilitating health issues including infections, illness, disease and high infant mortality rate.
10 DAY YOGA CHALLENGE
- It is as simple!
Complete just 3 Sun Salutations (any style or way that you choose) on video for 10 days. Make a donation to the Bali Bhakti Foundation, then SHARE on Facebook, COPY TEXT, TAG and CHALLENGE 1-3 people daily.
Remember it is best to nominate friends and family who would be open to offer 3 minutes of their day to help spread awareness for the organization’s wonderful causes and who would benefit from a witnessed and socially accountable 10-day challenge to improve their own wellbeing and holistic health- Body, Mind and Spirit.
3 Sun Salutations
- For every accepted challenge and $30 donation or more, Bali Bhakti Foundation will plant a medicinal fruit tree in its Amma’s Grove on Life Sprouts Farm, to be grown and shared with the local Balinese families as an edible plant medicine. The medium size trees rich in vitamins and healing properties include Dragon Fruit, Noni, Soursop, Guava and Pomegranate.
They will lovingly plant each tree with one of their “Little Sprouts”, young village girls between the ages of 9 and 14, who will hang their hand-made hang an Ojo de Dios with your name on it, then send you a photo of the tree planting ceremony.
(An Ojo de Dios or God's eye is a ritual tool, magical object, and symbol of cultural blessings evoking the weaving motif for the Huichol and Tepehuan Indians of western Mexico. It's symbolic of the power of seeing and understanding that which is unknown and unknowable, The Great Mystery)
Any additional funds raised will be directed to Bali Bhakti Foundation’s programs including their local Free Food Program and Vitality (Bali’s first GMO-Free Heirloom Seed Bank).
- Finally…Have fun!
All Videos and Shares help spread the word about Bali Bhakti Foundation’s grassroots programs and causes while raising global awareness of the importance of growing and consuming GMO-Free Foods and integrating Holistic Health, while helping one of the most beautiful, devotional and community-minded cultures today and for generation to come.
